We are pleased to share with you that Miami Law will be hosting a free 4-part series of mindfulness sessions for all members of the legal community, beginning today (apologies for the short notice!). The 30-minute webinars take place weekly on Fridays at 12:30 and will introduce mindfulness and explore four important practices and its for daily practice helpful for reducing stress and boosting immunity, finding balance and focus, and cultivating self-compassion, gratitude, and a sense of interconnectedness with one another.
Dean Anthony Varona, who has been sharing mindfulness and compassion practices with students and colleagues for many years, will host the sessions and Professor Scott Rogers will guide the practices. With Miami Law’s Mindfulness in Law Program having been focusing on these concerns for more than 10 years, it is a privilege for us to be able to offer it to a larger group at a time when it can be of service.
