Join us this Wednesday (8/5) at 3pm CT for the last installment of our Perspectives in Lawyering and Leadership summer series.
This Wednesday, we are fortunate to sit down with Mitchell Hamline alum Chris Montana ’13. Chris is an attorney and the Founder, CEO, and Head Distiller, of Du Nord Craft Spirits in Minneapolis, the first black-owned distillery in the nation.
In addition to being a lawyer and the business leader of Du Nord, Chris has also been an important leader in his community during this summer’s Covid-19 crisis and the civil unrest following the killing of George Floyd. Chris will discuss the leadership and contributions of the Du Nord team as they manufactured hand sanitizer during the Covid-19 pandemic, converted their warehouse into a food bank for the Minneapolis community, and started a recovery fund to help black- and brown-owned businesses that were damaged in the riots and unrest in Minneapolis.
Join us on Wednesday, August 5 at 3pm CT for this important conversation. Zoom link below.
