Mitchell Hamline’s Student Chapter of the Minnesota Justice Foundation is seeking a treasurer and a few section/class representatives for the 2020-2021 school year!
The primary function of our student organization is to spread awareness about public interest law and volunteer opportunities through MJF, and fundraise money for our annual Public Interest Law Fellowship (PILF) program.
- Treasurer – duties include, but are not limited to: help create and plan annual budget; supervise and manage the general fund and PILF funds in two separate checking accounts; keep the checkbooks; write checks for events and reimbursements; organize bank statements; report finances to the State Board when necessary; attend monthly board meetings; assist with annual silent auction
- Class Representatives – duties include, but are not limited to: help spread awareness about MJF volunteer opportunities and events; attend monthly board meetings; assist with annual silent auction; represent the organization at functions
