Virtual Event
The Minnesota Supreme Court Historical Society is proud to partner with NAQT’s “Buzzword” (naqt.com/buzzword) to bring you a special TWO-PART, COVID-inspired online Justice Jeopardy event that EVERYONE can be part of!!!
One entry fee gets you both parts of this year’s event!
- $15 for members
●$20 for non-members
JUSTICE JEOPARDY – Part 1:
The Buzzword part is an online quiz on American legal history. The game is intuitive to play, and the questions are FUN, EASY, and ENTERTAINING! We’ll set up a short practice game so you can get the hang of it.
Players can take the quiz anytime, 24/7, from December 17 through December 22. It will take you about 20 minutes or so to listen to, and answer, the 50 narrator-read questions. You can also pause the game to catch your breath!
And if you don’t want to play Buzzword, you can still watch the Justice Jeopardy showdown (see below).
We’ll compile a standings table, and the TOP TWO finishers will be invited to play with the justices in the Justice Jeopardy event!! (Don’t worry, we’ll ask the next finisher if you say “no thanks.”).
JUSTICE JEOPARDY – Part 2:
This year’s Justice Jeopardy players will include Justices G. Barry Anderson, Paul Thissen, and Gordon Moore! We’ll use Zoom to bring you the showdown, featuring the justices and Buzzword winners teaming up and facing off LIVE in a Jeopardy-style contest of Minnesota legal history.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JANUARY 21, 2021 starting at 5:00 p.m. for a virtual happy hour, followed by the Eighth Annual Justice Jeopardy at 6:00 p.m.
