Chase Andersen, Esq., Case Manager of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) of Minnesota (https://www.mnlcl.org), will be available for virtual one-on-one meetings with Mitchell Hamline Law students every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., starting January 20, 2021 via Zoom. These will be by appointment only. Interested students should email Chase directly at candersen@mnlcl.org and he will send you a Zoom link.
Chase offers confidential, discreet, and private discussions on any type of mental health or addiction/substance use issues including (but not limited to) alcohol and drug issues, anxiety, depression, gambling, and general stress. He can also suggest ways to navigate through law school without sacrificing your own well-being. Additionally, he can provide coaching if you see that one of your classmates (or other personal or professional connections) might be struggling. Finally, he can be a sounding board if you are dealing with ethical or character and fitness issues. All communications and services offered by LCL are free and confidential.
LCL is a non-profit, completely confidential resource that helps law students, lawyers and judges (and their immediate family members) that are dealing with issues related to alcohol, drugs, anxiety, depression, and other serious emotional or substance use-related challenges. Left untreated, these conditions will often sabotage a student’s law school performance and jeopardize their professional future. If you or someone you care about has any related concerns, please schedule a confidential chat with Chase.
