The National Consortium on Racial and Ethnic Fairness in the Courts is pleased to announce a special virtual event for law students and young lawyers, “Vigilance in the Time of Injustice – Past, Present, and Future: The Role of Law Students and Lawyers in Realizing Social Justice.” This program, which is calendared for Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:45 p.m. EDT to 7:15 p.m. EDT and will take place via Zoom Webinar, is offered in conjunction with the 32nd conference and annual meeting of the National Consortium and in observance of the one year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. How, if at all, have the events of 2020 and the anti-Asian violence of 2021 changed these efforts and your view of lawyering?
What solutions are we as members of the legal community going to pursue to harness today’s energies to sustain lasting justice?
