Professor Mike Steenson seeks one or more Mitchell Hamline students to work as a Research Assistant. The selected student(s) would start work in Summer 2021 and continue into Fall 2021.
Description: The selected student(s) will provide research and writing support for research on the issue of the impact of criminal statutes on tort litigation. More specifically, the research revolves around the issue of whether there should be a civil cause of action based on Minnesota’s criminal sexual conduct statutes.
Qualifications: The most important qualifications are strong research and writing skills.
Time Commitment: Part-time, approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Location: This work can be done on-site or remotely.
Compensation: This position is eligible for work study. Students should confirm their work study eligibility with the Financial Aid Office (finaid@mitchellhamline.edu).
