APPLY FOR THE RURAL SUMMER LEGAL CORPS!
In partnership with Legal Services Corporation (LSC), the Rural Summer Legal Corps places 40 public interest-minded law students in LSC-funded civil legal aid organizations across the country to serve rural and isolated communities. These students, called Student Fellows, take on a variety of projects addressing legal issues such as affordable housing and evictions, domestic violence, farmworkers’ rights, and family law matters. Students Fellows earn a $5,000 stipend for working 300 hours at their host site for the summer of 2022. Each Student Fellow will work on a specialized project designed by the host site. You can learn more about each project by clicking here. Interested applicants can also tune into two upcoming webinars to ask questions and learn tips about applying for this program.
