Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner is a boutique law firm dedicated to the practice of intellectual property law. In partnership with Wells Fargo in participating in the 2022 TCDIP 1L Clerkship program, the firm will provide an introduction to intellectual property with an emphasis on patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and the TCDIP clerk(s) will be invited to optionally join various events in the firm’s own 2022 Summer Patent Clerkship Program. The clerk in this position will spend approximately three weeks with our TCDIP corporate partner, Wells Fargo.
At Wells Fargo, the clerk will have the opportunity to shadow in-house attorneys, research legal issues, meet with mentors and other Wells Fargo clerks, and learn about the differences between the law firm and in-house environments The clerks applying should have at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Resume, cover letter, first semester grades when available, undergrad transcript (informal is okay), and writing sample are requested.
