MWL’s Student to Attorney Mentoring Program matches law students and attorneys in a one-on-one mentoring relationship based on student interest and attorney practice area. The goal of MWL’s Student to Attorney Mentoring Program is to provide law student members with knowledge, advice, and support they need to successfully navigate law school and develop a fulfilling and meaningful career. MWL will provide all participants with a monthly email detailing opportunities for mentors and mentees to connect. Emails will include events, articles, and suggestions of ways for pairs to make the most of their mentor relationship. All law students and attorneys must be members of MWL to participate. (Membership for law students is FREE this year! All other memberships are flexible, in order to ensure MWL is accessible to all during these challenging times. Complete membership details are available HERE.) Law Students: Take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with an attorney who is excited to share her experience practicing law! Law students are encouraged to sign-up early. Participation is on a first-come basis. Space may be limited, based on mentor availability. Attorneys: Serve in this leadership role by providing support and guidance to a law student who is interested to learn about your practice and experience in the legal profession. Given that student interest is very diverse, MWL welcomes attorneys with all levels of experience, in all geographic locations, and in all practice areas including non-traditional fields.
