MJF and Blue Earth County Court Administration (Mankato, MN) are organizing a one-day family law clinic for participants in specialty courts and we are looking for law student volunteers!
The clinic will take place at the Blue Earth County Justice Center (401 Carver Rd, Mankato, MN 56001). Clients will be current participants in specialty courts, and volunteer attorneys also will be present to supervise the law student volunteers. At the clinic the clients will be assisted with family law issues including dissolution (divorce), paternity, custody and parenting time modifications, and child support modifications. This is a great one-time volunteer opportunity that will involve working directly with clients, using court forms, and meeting practicing attorneys!
