This workshop will provide you with concrete ideas for planning your final memo project. We will discuss reading cases efficiently, time management tips for both writing projects and school scheduling, and how to make the writing process more efficient. A Hard Time Was Had by the Law Students While Their Memos Were Written: An Intro to Using Concise Active Voice, Correct Grammar, and Accurate Punctuation and Syntax in Legal Writing.
Are you a “wordy” writer? Do you use passive voice or nominalizations frequently? Questions about semicolons or syntax? Let’s talk! This workshop focuses on writing more concisely—and, therefore, more effectively.
