The Tri-School Public Interest Expo (“Tri-PIE”) is on November 1, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the University of Minnesota Law School. Tri-PIE is a no-pressure “table talk” event for students at all three law schools in Minnesota and attorneys from public interest organizations and government offices. Students can stop by at any time during the two-hour event window.
This event is an opportunity for all law students to learn about the work of many different public interest law agencies in Minnesota, to connect with attorneys and ask questions about what they do, and to explore ideas for summer clerkships or school-year student roles (externships, volunteer placements, etc). Some of the agencies in attendance will host paid summer law clerks through the MJF Summer Fellowship Program, so attending Tri-PIE is a great way to start preparing for your applications!
Also, this year, the Public Law Section of the MSBA will be sponsoring a photographer to provide FREE professional headshots for students at Tri-PIE! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get a professional photo taken to use during law school.
