The State Bar of Wisconsin is excited to pilot the Rural Clerkship Program this year. The program is intended to be small this year to gauge interest and allow us to analyze the structure of a rural program. This program aims to expose students to the benefits of practicing law in rural Wisconsin. Students (1L and 2L) will be recruited from Wisconsin and Minnesota law schools for a limited-term, full-time, paid summer employment opportunity. Employment typically lasts eight weeks, starting after the end of the spring semester. More information on the program can be found here. Click on Information and Application to apply.
