Taft is seeking a Pro Bono Law Clerk for the 2024-2025 academic year. The law clerk will work directly with attorneys on a variety of pro bono matters. Prior Taft Pro Bono Law Clerks have worked on appellate cases, immigration cases, intellectual property matters, nonprofit matters, and in legal clinics. If interested, the Pro Bono Law Clerk may be eligible to participate in the student practice of law.
The Pro Bono Law Clerk is a volunteer part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week) with flexibility to accommodate class schedules each semester. Students are welcome to apply to receive course credit for their work in accordance with their school’s externship guidelines. The position will be hybrid with both in-person and remote work. The Pro Bono Law Clerk position will continue for the duration of the academic year. Candidates must be 2L or 3L law students during the 2024-2025 academic year. Applications may be submitted until close of business on May 17 and will be reviewed and considered as received until the position is filled.
