This fellowship provide stipends to MHSL law students who spend their summers using their legal education to work in public interest positions that are unpaid. Students who have already secured an unpaid internship for the summer with a public interest organization are eligible to apply for funding. Public interest includes non-profit legal aid or advocacy organizations, prosecution and public defense work, and any government agency providing legal services. Organizations don’t need to be located in Minnesota, students with out-of-state internships are welcome to apply! Applications are due Sunday, April 14 and are available now on Symplicity.
