Students and community members are invited to hear from nationally recognized speaker, crime survivor and author of Picking Cotton, Jennifer Thompson, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Hennepin and Ramey County Attorneys and For the People about new laws related to sentence review and the protection of victims rights. It’s a great opportunity to network with local leaders!
Event begins at 10am. At 12pm, crime survivors and their families are invited to receive information directly from Jennifer Thompson, Healing Justice staff and local advocates about their rights, safety planning and services.
