Join us this Friday for our virtual spring symposium! Mitchell Hamline Law Review in collaboration with Out!Law presents LGBTQ+ and the Law. A conversation on the legal issues impacting LGBTQ+ people in the United States and experiences in the legal profession. The symposium will feature two events: one panel featuring lawyers, individuals in public service, and activists who are LGBTQ+ who will share how their identities have impacted their work and navigation of legal spaces. The second conversation will address LGBTQ+ legal struggles and successes, such as reflecting on bills and laws in the nation banning gender-affirming care, the 2023 Supreme Court decision in 303 Creative, and so much more. Both panels will be moderated by Professor Jared Mollenkof, faculty advisor to Out!Law.
The symposium will be over Zoom on Friday, May 3rd. This is a free event and open to the public. This is an approved CLE event and is pending diversity credit approval!
