The International Law Student Association seeks individuals to take on leadership roles and join as members to revitalize the organization and support its growth! Any student at Mitchell Hamline can join and become a leader, regardless of whether they are a first year (1L) student in their first prep week or a seasoned third year (3L) student about to graduate! Blended students are encouraged to join, as many activities will be conducted virtually through Zoom!

The International Law Student Association (ILSA) at Mitchell Hamline is dedicated to laying a robust foundation for practicing International Law. ILSA aims to become a pivotal force in international legal education by forging connections with law schools and esteemed legal scholars worldwide, with each member contributing to our global mission.
Our Three Core Goals:
Raise Awareness: We strive to ignite a passion for international affairs and comparative law within the student body, fostering a global perspective on legal issues.
Practical Skills Development: we will arrange and facilitate essential practical skills training through moot court, comparative law sessions, and seminars.
Networking and Alumni Relations: We are committed to building a solid network of international colleagues and alumni, ensuring Mitchell Hamline graduates become the next generation of influential attorneys on the global stage.
Through participation in the International Law Student Association (ILSA), students will not only enhance their experience at Mitchell Hamline campus and e-campus, but also gain access to a myriad of opportunities for personal and professional growth through extracurricular activities and networking. We invite you to join us in shaping the future of International Law and creating a lasting impact on the global stage!
