Board Announcement:
The Latine Law Student Association will be accepting nominations for the 2025-2026 LLSA Board starting Monday, March 10th. Please fill out this form by this Friday, March 21st if you are interested in running for a position.
Positions:
- President
- The President is the chief officer and primary contact for the organization and is responsible for assisting MHSL in recruitment and outreach while liaising between the students and administration
- Vice President
- The Vice President will assist the President in their duties of recruitment, outreach, liaising, and running meetings. Additionally, if the Treasurer position is not filled, VP will handle finances.
- Secretary
- The Secretary supports the other board members and is responsible for keeping records of meetings and organizational information. The secretary is also responsible for signing/co-signing checks drawn on the Society’s account.
- Treasurer
- The Treasurer is responsible for preparing the budget proposal for the Student Bar Association each semester, with the assistance of the other board members. They are also responsible for accounting and financial reporting functions.
- Social Media Manager
- The Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and promoting the organization and events through social media and other communications (newsletter, flyers, etc.) content.
- Blended Learning Rep
- The Blended Learning Rep is a voice for all of the blended students and is required to attend all board meetings. The BLR will also facilitate member communications to the blended program participants.
- 2L,3L, 4L Rep
- Each rep is a voice for all of the students at that level and is required to attend all board meetings. The section reps will also facilitate member communications to their cohorts.
