On April 8, from 12-1 pm in room 231, all students and faculty are welcome to attend the MSBA ADR Section CLE “Mediation Representation: Theory and Reality” presentation by Professor Press, co-hosted by the Mitchell Hamline ADR Society and the Minnesota State Bar Association ADR Section.
Students attending in person do not need to register but are asked to RSVP by April 4 for lunch.
Event Description
In this hybrid session, we will explore the role of the lawyer in mediation – not as the neutral but as representative. What are the ethical obligations of lawyers? What are the ethical obligations of the mediators? And as a practical matter, how can mediation best serve those who are in dispute. Come ready to share your experiences – both positive and concerning!
This month’s CLE is hybrid format, and lunch will be provided for all in-person attendees. Zoom link: https://mnbar-org.zoom.us/j/96663982256?pwd=aQP4AgJ7zvSTsGfZT0TDI4TbUa36rS.1&from=addon
