Our speaker, Brian Rochel, is a nationally recognized employment lawyer who delivers powerful results for employees and whistleblowers. Brian, a 2010 graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law, is currently a partner at Kitzer Rochel, PLLP, a leading employment law firm based in Minneapolis. Known for his success as both a trial and appellate attorney, Brian is a certified Employment Law Specialist and a trusted leader in the field. He has earned numerous top honors, including being named a “Super Lawyer,” a “Labor & Employment Star,” and a “Top Lawyer” in Minnesota. He actively contributes to employment law through teaching, presenting nationwide, and serving on key legal committees—most notably, the Amicus Advisory Council for the Eighth Circuit. Brian has played a pivotal role in shaping landmark employment cases and advocates for legislative reforms to protect workers’ rights. Beyond the courtroom, Brian is deeply involved in his community, coaches youth sports, and enjoys spending time with his family.
