Event Details:
- When: Monday, April 28 | 7:00–8:00 PM
- Where: Room 225 or on Zoom

Light refreshments will be available for in-person attendees.
Professor Jim Hilbert will serve as moderator. Our four panelists are:

- Anjie Flowers: General Counsel and HR director, Minnetonka Public Schools
- Catherine Ahlin-Halverson: Plaintiffs’ attorney in a recent book ban case
- David Aron: General Counsel, Education Minnesota
The panel will address a range of timely and important issues in K–12 education law, including school segregation, book bans, school vouchers, First Amendment concerns, LGBTQ+ protections, and more.
This event is especially relevant for students interested in education law, constitutional issues, and civil rights, but all are welcome to attend. The event is co-hosted by the Mitchell Hamline chapters of Parents and Caregivers Attending Law School (PALS) and the American Constitution Society (ACS).
Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions. We hope to see you there.
