At Mitchell Hamline School of Law, we are committed to fostering a community where all students feel supported, especially during challenging times. The MHSL Food Pantry exists as a resource for students facing food insecurity, providing immediate, short-term assistance during periods of unexpected hardship. It is designed to act as an emergency resource and a bridge to longer-term solutions such as SNAP benefits (food stamps), local food shelves, and community support services.
There are limited Food Assistance Funds available for enrolled MHSL students. You can apply for them through the Student Emergency Fund Application. Please see the application for more details and eligibility. Students should prioritize using the in-person pantry before requesting funds.
