In response to the attacks and loss of life on June 14th that have shaken our state and our legal community, the Minnesota Legal Community Trauma Response Plan (MNLCTRP*) Coalition is offering grief and processing sessions to provide space for reflection, support and collective care.
These virtual sessions will be facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and will offer a confidential, healing-centered environment for those navigating the emotional and psychological impact of this moment. Rooted in our mutual aid model, these gatherings are designed to foster connection, care and resilience within the legal community.
All attorneys, law students, legal professionals and others in the legal field, whether directly or vicariously affected, are encouraged to join. Register here to attend either or both of the following sessions:
-
Session 1: Thursday, June 26, 12:00 – 1:00 pm
-
Session 2: Friday, June 27, 8:00 – 9:00 am
Please help us spread the word by sharing this event with your networks. We want to ensure that everyone in the legal community who may benefit from these sessions has the opportunity to participate.
If you are concerned for yourself or someone else, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) offers 24/7 confidential support. Please call 651-646-5590 or 1-866-525-6466 for assistance.
*Special thanks to the MNLCTRP Coalition partners for making these sessions possible: Minnesota Women Lawyers, Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, and the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers.
