Professor Carl Moy is looking for research assistants to serve over the summer and into the upcoming academic year.
Work will include: legal research; writing; analysis of legal authorities, including cases and secondary sources; curricular planning and development; program planning and development; planning and executing recruiting and placement events.
Topics will involve patent law, other areas of IP law, legal theory, litigation practice, legal writing, remedies, and related areas. A background or primary interest in IP law will be helpful in some matters, but is not a requirement.
If you participate, there will likely be opportunities for you to develop one or more scholarly article topics. I can award work-study and academic credit for appropriate work done as an RA.
RA meetings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon. RAs should be able to attend at least one of the meetings regularly.
If you are interested, please get in touch with me at [email protected] or reach out to Deanna Burns at [email protected].
You can also talk to Professor Moy about the position at regular office hours, weekly on Mondays, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Zoom at: https://mitchellhamline.zoom.us/j/97602803295.
