Reapplying to Law School
A student who has been dismissed from Mitchell Hamline or any other law school may seek readmission after two or more academic semesters have elapsed since their dismissal. Such students must apply through LSAC as an applicant for the next incoming class. They are strongly recommended to submit a letter of recommendation from a law school professor, and their application should demonstrate that the nature of the interim work, studies, activities, or other experiences indicates a stronger potential for the study of law.
If admitted, they will begin anew as a first-semester, first-year law student, and no credit will be given to courses completed prior to their dismissal.
