If you’re interested in being a resource for Mitchell Hamline students without the time commitment of teaching a class or being a mentor, Mitchell Hamline Connect offers alumni a new option to provide one-time or short-term assistance.
Register to be a networking contact for students, and you’ll decide how many students you want to connect with, and what short-term opportunities you’re interested in. Opportunities include offering an informational interview or a job shadow experience, providing referrals to a colleague or others in your network, or simply answering a few quick questions about your work. You can also let the Office of Career and Professional Development know if you are interested in other volunteer activities, such as speaking to students on campus about your career, or conducting mock interviews.
Mitchell Hamline Connect is open to all alumni, and is a great way for alumni living outside of the Twin Cities to get engaged with our students, including our Hybrid JD students, most of whom also live outside the Twin Cities metro area.
Registration takes about five minutes, click here to get started.
