Eden Prairie’s Beverly Aho has been elected chair of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation’s board of directors for the 2016-17 year. She succeeds Patricia Magnuson, who remains on the organization’s board of directors as past chair. The Community Foundation is governed by a 13-member, all-volunteer board and a paid executive director. Aho is a business, real estate and civil litigation attorney at the James H. Gilbert Law Group. Bev and her husband, Eden Prairie Councilmember Brad Aho, have been residents of Eden Prairie for 25 years, and have three grown children. They have been active in the community, serving in various capacities for nonprofits, charities, church and school. Bev is also a member of Rotary, the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce and Eden Prairie Lioness Club. She has an M.B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from Hamline University School of Law, a news release said.
