Academic Excellence Tutor
David Meyer received the M. Arnold Lyons Scholar Award at the Hamline School of Law. In addition to his valedictorian honors, David was the editor of the Hamline Law Review and still enjoys writing. He began his legal career as a legal writing instructor at Hamline. He then spent over twenty years at law firms representing injured plaintiffs in many settings, but primarily representing injured railroad workers under the Federal Employers Liability Act. Following that, David spent time as in-house counsel for a dot-com financial services company. His next adventure was working as a contract writer and editor with the Office of the Monitor under the Consent Decree in Pickford v. Glickman. Today, in addition to adjunct teaching, David works as a contract attorney reviewing and coding ESI documents for several employers.
