Erin Carr received a joint M.A. in International Affairs and J.D. from Florida State University with a concentration in human rights law and social justice policy. She has primarily concentrated her practice in the area of public interest law, having worked for the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Complex Litigation and subsequently serving as a Senior Program Attorney for the Guardian ad Litem Program. Since transitioning into higher education, Erin has supported students as the Associate Director for Career Development at the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she provided career advising to over 700 students seeking opportunities in public interest law, government sector employment, and with the judiciary. Erin presently serves as the Director of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Programs at Everett Community College where she provides strategic guidance and manages institutional compliance initiatives pertaining to equity-based policies and federal and state non-discrimination laws.
