Scott Flaherty is a partner at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister. He handles complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, business disputes, and Indian law. Flaherty was an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas Law School and a law clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. His volunteer work includes representing journalists and researchers and representing adults in the Ramsey County Mental Health Court. Flaherty is the chair of the ACLU of Minnesota and the secretary of the Minnesota Supreme Court Historical Society. He has served on the board of the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center and formerly chaired the Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights.
