Casey Martin is an attorney for Harbor Health, a primary and specialty care group based in Austin, Texas. She also serves as the organization’s privacy officer. Casey was formerly general counsel and chief compliance officer for Planned Parenthood North Central States (serving Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska). In that role, she led a team of compliance and legal professionals and counseled on a variety of health care and non-healthcare related matters, including privacy, licensure, employment, healthcare transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Casey received Minnesota Lawyer’s Attorney of the Year award in 2019. Casey received her JD from Hamline University School of Law in 2011, where she studied both health law and healthcare compliance curricula. She teaches and mentors health law students across the nation.
