Adjunct/Affiliated Professor
Devra Hermosilla is an assistant dean at a law school in the Pacific Northwest and has been an adjunct law professor since 2016. Devra entered legal academia after practicing litigation, employment law, and juvenile defense in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho for 17 years. She primarily represented employers in employment litigation, administrative hearings, and in compliance counseling. She was nominated by her peers as a Rising Star Super Lawyer in Employment Litigation.
Devra earned her Bachelor of Arts from Pacific Lutheran University and her juris doctor from Seattle University School of Law. She completed her Master of Arts in higher education in 2020. Married for nearly 30 years, Devra and Miguel have a son who is an emergency dispatcher and a daughter in college studying to be a game and animation artist. Devra is an avid roller derby fan—having played, coached, and stage-mommed in the sport since 2008.
