Principal and Chair, Data Privacy and Security Group, Gray Plant Mooty
Cohen has extensive experience in data privacy and security matters with special expertise in information technology law. He is currently a Principal and chair of the Data Privacy and Security group at the Gray Plant Mooty law firm. He is also the primary author of A Legal Guide to Privacy and Data Security.
Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty he served as in-house counsel for Lawson Software. He has earned the CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) which recognize his knowledge of data privacy laws both in the United States and Europe.
Michael teaches in the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Certificate Program at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
