Principal and Chair, Data Privacy and Security Group, Gray Plant Mooty
Michael has extensive experience in data privacy and security matters with special expertise in information technology law. He is currently a Principal and chair of the Data Privacy and Security group at the Gray Plant Mooty law firm . He is also the primary author of A Legal Guide to Privacy and Data Security .
Prior to joining Gray Plant he served as in-house counsel for Lawson Software. He has the CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in recognition of his knowledge of data privacy laws both in the US and Europe.
Michael teaches in the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Certificate Program at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
