Professor Mohammed Wattad is a full professor, president of Ramat Gan Academic College, and past dean of law and deputy vice president for Academic Affairs at Zefat Academic College in Israel. He specializes in international and comparative criminal law and constitutional law, conflict resolution, professional ethics, and medical law. From 2014 to 2016, he served as a visiting associate professor at the University of California at Irvine. Between 2003 and 2004, he served as a legal clerk at the Supreme Court of Israel under the supervision of Justice Dalia Dorner. He is a Haifa University School of Law graduate from Israel, having studied as an exchange student at Oxford University. He accomplished higher academic education in law at Columbia University’s Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto, the Max Planck Institute in Germany, and the International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences in Italy.
