Sarah Erickson is an Assistant Mille Lacs County Attorney. She primarily handles a criminal law caseload including domestic violence, terroristic threats, counterfeiting, and property crime cases in addition to juvenile delinquency matters. Ms. Erickson also handles the County’s public works contracts, probate, and eminent domain matters.
Prior to working as an Assistant County Attorney, Ms. Erickson was an attorney for HGA Architects and Engineers. Her practice area primarily involved construction and corporate law. In her capacity, she drafted and negotiated contracts and provided education and advice regarding business and legal risk management. Ms. Erickson also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Steven Anderson in Mille Lacs County and the Honorable Margaret Daly in Hennepin County.
Ms. Erickson is a 2012 graduate from Hamline University School of Law. Before attending law school, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Business Management from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
