Associate, Faegre Baker Daniels
Scholastica Baker guides clients through all stages of medical device product liability litigation. Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Scholastica was an associate at a national law firm where she defended the manufacturer and design of motor vehicles, blanket warmers, pain and infusion pumps, chemical products, and transvaginal mesh. During law school, Scholastica served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael J. Davis, Chief Judge, United States District Court of Minnesota.
Scholastica is a combat veteran. During her military career, she held the rank of captain in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where she managed more than 200 soldiers as commanding officer of Bravo Company Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion of the 34th Infantry Division. She received a bronze star medal for her service in Iraq as a military intelligence officer in charge of a section and a meritorious service medal during a one year deployment as an administrative law paralegal in Bosnia.
Scholastica enjoys natural light photography with her iPhone X, day-trips throughout Minnesota with her husband and three sons, and witty banter in romantic comedies.
