Ben Pflueger, a May 2016 grad who earned a Law and Business Certificate, found his first attorney position as a result of the Center for Law and Business mentorship program. Ben’s mentor in his 2L year was an attorney at Securian Financial. The two kept in touch, and Ben was able to secure a job at Securian after graduation.
“For me, employment came about as a direct result of the Law and Business mentorship program. It was an excellent program that allowed me to make great connections through the alumni network of Mitchell Hamline. This network helped connect me to multiple job opportunities after law school. It also helped guide me to a position to start my professional career that highlights many of the skills I learned while completing my Law and Business Certification. It was an invaluable program to me and one I am hoping to see grow.”
