The Zero Abuse Project at Mitchell Hamline
Mitchell Hamline School of Law and Jeff Anderson & Associates are breaking new ground in child abuse prevention and legal education through the Zero Abuse Project (ZAP), a project aimed at training legal professionals and transforming how institutions prevent and respond to child abuse. The Zero Abuse Project at Mitchell Hamline will be the leading institution to train future attorneys and legal professionals in the prevention of child abuse through trauma-informed care, education and training. ZAP will help legal advocates and institutions effectively recognize, understand and respond to child abuse. ZAP will include a dedicated clinic with experienced legal professionals researching, developing and teaching courses, as well as policy work, planning and impact litigation.
