A recent study of students at five universities looked at 21st Century student research habits. The findings show, among other things, that undergraduate students are often not learning the information literacy skills they will need for their future education and careers. Dr. Andrew D. Asher, one of the study authors states, “This isn’t just about doing academic research, but also about being a savvy, reflective, and critical consumers of information.”
