What the !#%$ is Courtroom Cast?
LexisNexis Courtroom Cast is an academic portal that contains a plethora of resources to help you study for class and improve your moot court or advocacy skills. Some of these resources include: downloadable audio files of edited judicial opinions; video highlights of selected trials, hearings, and oral arguments; and a training library covering topics such as trial advocacy, rules of evidence, and appellate advocacy.
Not only can you download some of your class assigned opinions to listen on the go, you can also stream real courtroom video highlights with expert commentary and analysis.
On top of that, Courtroom Cast has the world’s largest online library of courtroom video. There are thousands of hours of trials, hearings, and oral arguments from around the nation and from a variety of practice areas.
Courtroom Cast is available to Mitchell Hamline students, faculty, and staff. To register, select Mitchell Hamline School of Law on the registration page, then use your MHSL email to create an account.
If you have any questions or troubles with registration, reach out to your friendly reference librarians!
