What the !#%$ is Academic OneFile?
Academic OneFile is a multidisciplinary database of scholarly journals, business and technology publications, law journals, and newspapers. This resource has access to “millions of articles from over 17,000 scholarly journals and other authoritative sources—including thousands of podcasts and transcripts from NPR and CNN as well as videos from BBC Worldwide Learning.”
This database is great for long paper research, especially if your topic includes some non-legal elements.
Academic OneFile also offers a variety of ways to search their collection, including basic and advanced search options; browsing by discipline; and advanced search tools like topic finder, subject guide search, and publications search.
You can also reach out to your friendly reference librarians for help, too! They are available for appointments (or questions) in person or via phone (651-290-6424), chat, Zoom, or email.
