What to Bring—Eviction Expungement
Bring the following items so your visit can be productive. Make sure you bring everything you’ve received from the court.
The items in bold are essential; all items will make the process faster, easier, and more accurate.
You can obtain copies of your eviction case(s) Register of Actions by visiting the courthouse where the eviction occurred or by searching under ‘Civil, Family & Probate Case Records’ online. If you do not have the court documents for your eviction, go to the county courthouse where your eviction was filed and ask them how to get your papers. You can find court information by county.
- Case file number of the underlying eviction or Register of Action for each eviction
- Court documents from the eviction
- Paperwork from the previous attempts at expungement
