Each year, over 300 teams from around the world compete in the Willem C. Vis Moot in Vienna, Austria.
Procedurally, the moot involves international commercial arbitration. Substantively, the moot focuses on international sales law (CISG).
In addition to writing two briefs and preparing for Vienna, we also compete in several pre-moot competitions. The competition takes place in mid-April but the work begins in late September and will continue in earnest through the competition.
Tryouts will consist of a 5 minute oral argument and the submission of a 5-10 page writing sample (preferably a brief).
