The Department of Education has submitted guidance to all schools regarding the use of professional judgements to adjust students cost of attendance budgets because of the COVID-19 outbreak. What that means is that anyone who can no longer work, had their work reduced or who have had costs associated with the COVID-19 outbreak can contact the Financial Aid Department to see if there is either additional room on your budget for more student loans or see if we can possibly increase your budget to allow for additional borrowing. Professional judgements always require supporting documentation such as receipts, letter from the student, proof of income etc. But we are determined to offer any assistance that we can.
