Street Law will take place during Spring semester. In Street Law, law students pair up to teach middle and high school students about fundamental legal rights and responsibilities. Volunteers work with the classroom teachers to identify the most relevant topics for their class. Street Law volunteers will attend a two-day training in January where they will learn a variety of methods for teaching Street Law, meet attorneys interested in speaking to their classes, work on curriculum, and leave prepared to teach in the spring! Past volunteers generally feel that this was their favorite volunteer experience.
