Summer Opportunity: Technology and Access to Justice
We are soliciting expressions of interest and proposals from student who want to participate in a three-credit internship-with-a-professor incubator this summer. Students would work with Professor Gregory Duhl, Adjunct Professor Lisa Needham, and several senior members of the Academic Technology Services Department to partner with a legal services organization and design a technological tool to increase access to justice (e.g., a chatbot, a smart contract, an app, etc.)
In this first go-round of the incubator, we prefer students who have some experience with a particular technology they want to employ and preliminary ideas of how they would like to employ the technology to increase access to justice.
If interested, please e-mail Professor Duhl, gregory.duhl@mitchellhamline.edu, and Amanda Soderlind, Instructional Design Manager, at amanda.soderlind@mitchellhamline.edu with a short description of why you are interested in this opportunity and thoughts about the project you would like to explore. Also attach a resume.
