Please join Mitchell Hamline Law Review for our annual symposium from March 22-26th!
This year’s Symposium will focus on creating trauma-informed professionals who not only understand various types of trauma but who also know how to manage their own mental health. Instead of a day-long session, Law Review is offering five smaller sessions over the lunch hour (12 pm-1 pm) during the week via Zoom. The topics are as follows:
Monday: Racial Trauma (featuring Ms. Bob-E Simpson Epps and moderated by BLSA)
Tuesday: Veteran’s/First Responder Trauma (featuring Vietnam Era Veteran, Dr. Dorothy Simpson Taylor and moderated by the Veteran’s Association)
Wednesday: Generational Trauma (featuring Myrna McCallum, moderated by NALSA)
Thursday: Children and Trauma (featuring Brandon Jones)
Friday: Moving to Trauma-Responsive Practice (featuring Natalie Netzel and Miriam Itzkowitz)
Social Work CEUs approved, Diversity Credit Approved (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), CLE Credit pending.
