The Wisconsin Law Foundation is currently accepting applications for the 2022 Belle Case La Follette Awards. These awards will recognize three recent law school graduates, who are State Bar of Wisconsin members practicing in Wisconsin, who represent under-served populations. “Under-served populations” may include helping those of modest means in urban or rural areas, practicing in rural Wisconsin, non-profits, etc. Applicants must have graduated between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2021.
One award will be given to a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School and one to a graduate from Marquette University Law School. The third award will be given to a graduate from a law school located outside Wisconsin who is living and practicing in Wisconsin.
Each of the three award recipients will receive a $2,500 award to help pay off law school debt or support his or her practice. Award recipients will be invited to attend the 2022 Wisconsin Law Foundation Fellows Annual Dinner on September 29th in Milwaukee as our guest.
